Wings in the City

Just in time for March Madness, LIVE Detroit is weighing in on our favorite bar food – wings! There are plenty of restaurants serving up chicken wings throughout the city, but here are your LIVE Detroit team’s championship picks – Sweetwater Tavern and They Say. Both restaurants are conveniently located to downtown. Try them both and let us know which one is your favorite!

Sweetwater Tavern

If you’re looking for a tasty wing, seasoned to perfection with just a touch of spiciness – Sweetwater Tavern’s famous wings are for you. This historic downtown building is a few quick blocks from Campus Martius and has lots of TVs throughout. Try dining in and enjoy the lively atmosphere during the big game! Insider’s tip: Sweetwater Express has carry-out locations to serve both the east and west sides of the city. Pick up the same great wings and enjoy with the game in the comfort of your own home. Be sure to give the seasoned fries a try, too!

Order wings for takeout and kick your feet up at home, or dine in to enjoy the jazzy feel of this great city spot. Make sure you get here early if you want to catch the game on one of the brand new TVs surrounding the bar area. Seats fill up quickly, especially on the weekend!
